Yes. We do this every week. Most men come to us already wearing a system from one of the bigger national studios — we just take over. No gap, no awkward in-between. Your first appointment with us would be a normal service visit, except we'd do the hair right and treat you like a person.
No. You can come to us whenever you're ready. What you do with your existing contract is between you and them — many men just stop showing up and let it lapse. We don't need anything formal on your end. You sit in our chair, we take care of you.
We get it. Tina has worked alongside great stylists across the industry — many of them got pushed out for the same reasons we left. If your stylist is part of why you're staying, that's a real reason. But if you're staying because you don't want to start over with someone new, give Tina a thirty-minute consultation. We're not asking you to make a decision today.
No. Tina's a national award-winning stylist with 25+ years specifically in restoration. She'll match what you have now or improve on it — nobody around you should notice anything except that you might look better. Discretion is the entire point of this work, and it's one of the things we never compromise on.
Thirty minutes. By phone or in person, your call. Justin or Tina walks through your situation, answers anything you want to ask, and recommends the program that fits. There's no sales pitch and no obligation. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
Plan on 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your service. Cleaning, custom cut, blend, style. We don't rush. We also don't make you wait in a lobby — if you're scheduled, your chair is ready.
Just let us know. We're a small studio, so we appreciate notice when possible — but life happens, and we'll work with you. No fees, no penalties, no warning letters. We're trying to build a relationship, not extract a cancellation fee.
Of course. Many men bring their wife, partner, or a close friend — especially the first time. The consultation is yours. Bring whoever helps you make a good decision.
Then your consultation is even more important. Justin's been a client for over twenty years — he can walk you through what wearing a system actually means, how it feels, what daily life looks like, and whether it's the right call for you. There's no judgment and no pressure.
Programs run from $350 to $675 per month, depending on how often you want service visits. There's a one-time $750 setup fee for your first system, consultation, and styling. That's it. No hidden charges, no add-on packages, no surprise invoices. See all programs
No. Month-to-month, always. If we stop being the right fit, you stop. We'd rather earn your next month than trap you in this one.
Yes, anytime. Life changes. Your visit cadence can change with it. No re-enrollment, no penalty, no paperwork.
Talk to us before, and we'll work it out. We're not going to charge you for months you won't use. We're trying to run a business, not squeeze a subscription.
Not at the moment. We've kept the entry simple on purpose — the $750 setup is the only larger payment, and the monthly programs are designed to fit comfortably alongside the other things in a man's budget. If financing is a real issue for you, raise it at the consultation. We'll be honest about what we can and can't do.
Your first custom-fit hair system, your initial consultation, your first full styling, and the basic home-care you need to keep things looking right between visits. No upsells. No "you'll also need…"
Premium-grade human hair, custom-fitted to your scalp, color-matched to what's left of your own hair. Same hair quality across every program — you don't pay more for better hair, you pay more for more frequent service.
Yes. That's the whole point. Tina's reputation is built on natural-looking results — the kind where strangers don't notice anything except that you look like a sharper version of yourself. If a system doesn't look right when she's done, she doesn't let you walk out.
Yes to all of it. Modern systems are built for real life. We'll walk you through care and what to expect during your consultation — but the short version is: you live your life, we handle the maintenance.
Depends on your program and how hard you live in it. Each program includes a set number of new systems per year, and we cycle them on a schedule. You're never wearing something past its prime.
You can absolutely style it yourself. Tina will teach you how, recommend the right products (we don't push our own brand — we'll tell you what works), and we're available between visits if anything's off.
Shawnee, Kansas. We serve men across the entire KC Metro — Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Leawood, Lee's Summit, Kansas City proper, and everywhere between. Most clients drive in once a month or less, depending on their program.
It means we run the business with reverence — for the work, for our clients, for the team. Practically, it shapes how we treat you, how we price, how we communicate, and what shortcuts we refuse to take. You won't get a sermon when you sit in our chair. You won't get a verse on your invoice. You'll get the lived expression of a team trying to do good work because we believe it matters.
No. Monarch is built specifically for men. Women's hair restoration is a different specialty with different needs, and we'd rather do one thing exceptionally than two things adequately. We can refer you to studios who serve women if that's what you're looking for.
The studio has been quietly operating for the past two years — we treated that period as a long soft launch while we built the team, refined the experience, and waited for the right moment to go public. We're new to most people, but the work isn't new. Justin and Tina between them have over forty years of experience in this industry.
Yes — on purpose. Justin, Tina, and Skyler. Small enough that you'll always know who's handling your situation. We have no plans to grow into a chain. We're trying to be the best at this in Kansas City, not the biggest. Meet the team
Then ask us. Email hello@monarch.hair, call 913.326.3852, or book a consultation and we'll cover it then. There's no question we'd rather you not ask.
You've read enough. The next part is a conversation — and you'll know more in thirty minutes with us than you'll learn in three weeks of Googling.
